Christmas Parade

The Kewaskum Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Christmas parade with floats, music and fun for all.

Lunch ā€˜nā€™ Learn: Trial of Richard Hauptmann for Kidnapping and Murder of the Lindbergh Baby with Hope Nelson

Event Date: Thursday, December 11, 2014
Location: Old Courthouse Museum, 320 S. 5th Ave, West Bend
Local resident, Hope Nelson, is the daughter of former New Jersey Governor, Harold G. Hoffman. Hoffman was governor during the 1935 trial of Bruno Richard Hauptmann, the accused kidnapper and murderer fo Charles Lindberg, Jr. Hope’s father had a keen interest in the high profile trial that took place in Flemington, New Jersey. Hope will share her family’s unique connection and her father’s collection relating to the mysterious kidnapping and trial. Free for WCHS Members. $5.00 for non-members.
